Welcome to Mexico!
Mexico, a millenary country, rich in natural resources, traditions, culture, architecture, and gastronomy. Famous for its hospitality, it has also been a key country in the history of Homeopathic Medicine. We were the first in the world to make homeopathy official by presidential decree on August 10, 1895, and since then, Mexico has been generous in contributing knowledge, being the cradle of great homeopaths, among whom the following stand out:
- Dr. Higinio G. Pérez, founder of the Escuela Libre de Homeopatía, known as the Apostle of Homeopathy in Mexico.
- Dr. Proceso S. Ortega, founder of Homeopatía de México, who gave continuity to Hahnemannian thought, especially in the study and clinic of chronic diseases or miasms, among many other contributions.
We are an active country in the activities of the Liga Médico Homeopática Internacional (LMHI), having hosted four previous congresses:
- IV Congress (1929) – Held from August 10 to 16 and organized by Dr. Higinio G. Pérez, on the occasion of the centenary of the Jubilee of Samuel Hahnemann.
- XXXV Congress (1980) – Held in the Port of Acapulco, organized by Homeopatía de México.
- 1995 Congress – Held in the city of Oaxaca, also organized by Homeopatía de México.
- LXII Congress (2007) – Carried out in the city of Puebla, again with the organization of Homeopatía de México.
The Congress we are convening today is carefully planned to offer three full days of academic activities, parallel sessions, and special events. Among these, the celebration of the Latin American Congress of Materia Medica stands out, along with other scientific and cultural activities.
The Congress Venue Hotel will be the Fiesta Americana Mérida, selected for its excellent location, comfort, and quality of services. As the host hotel of the Congress, it will facilitate the stay of attendees, as well as access to the program activities, contributing to a more practical and comfortable experience during the event.
Today we welcome you with open arms and with the certainty that this edition will be, once again, an international benchmark in the transformation and generation of new knowledge.
We are honored to bring together in this space the most outstanding exponents of homeopathy, together with an audience committed and prepared to be an active part of this evolution in favor of science and health.
